Thanks to the SoBigData european platform, I obtained a support for a visiting to one of the partner of the project.

I spent 3 weeks, from March 6 to March 24, 2023 at the CNR in Pisa, hosted by the KDD Lab, in particular in close cooperation with Giulio Rossetti and Salvatore Citraro.

Thanks to this support, we were able to start and pursue several joint works:

• We worked on a first version of a library for the generation of networks with arbitrary strucutres and controled size. This library will be published as an open source tool and will be intergrated in SoBigData platform
• We designed a first version of an article comparing the properties of networks with various structures, together with a selection of network descriptors we can use to distinguish them.
• We collaborated on a new method to automatically classify dynamic community events.

We plan to publish the results of these works in the coming months.
